With the significant increase in scientific data accumulated by Mars exploration missions, as well as the numerous scientific achievements and new discoveries obtained on this basis, human understanding of Mars has been elevated to a new level, laying a good foundation for immigration to Mars. 

Thirdly, why is Musk's statement used as the basis for determining the countdown time? 

Mr. Elon Musk has made predictions and arrangements about the Mars migration plan on various occasions. The earliest one was in 2016, when Musk announced his grand plan to land on Mars at the International Astronautical Congress, stating that he would transport humans to Mars for the first time in 2026 and establish a sustainable Martian city in 2035. 

The most recent one was on May 15, 2024, when a netizen posted on social media saying, "We will be able to land on Mars in a few years.". Musk left a comment saying, "In less than 5 years and less than 10 years, manned landing can be achieved without anyone on duty. A city may be built within 20 years, and if it's safer, it will take 30 years." 

Musk not only set clear goals, but also dared to think and act. He has invested a huge amount of money to implement the Mars Migration Plan, and is constantly expanding investment scale, continuously improving the Falcon rocket and Starry Arrow system. What's even more valuable is that he has achieved remarkable results that have attracted worldwide attention.
